Stepdaughter of Guns N' Roses guitarist Slash passes away at 25
Fans of legendary musician Slash were left in mourning this week after the rock and roll superstar's stepdaughter died at the age of 25.
According to the New York Post, Slash announced in a social media post this past Sunday that Lucy-Bleu Knight had died earlier in the month.
Knight remembered as "a charming, lovable, sweet soul"
"Lucy-Bleu Knight (December 6, 1998), beloved daughter of Meegan Hodges and Mark Knight, stepdaughter of Samantha Somers Knight and Slash, sister of Scarlet Knight, stepsister of London and Cash Hudson, passed away peacefully in Los Angeles, California, on July 19, 2024," Slash wrote.
The Guns N' Roses lead guitarist went on to call his stepdaughter "an incredibly talented artist, a passionate dreamer, and a charming, lovable, sweet soul."

Slash concluded by asking that "social media speculation be kept to a minimum" so that Knight's family can "grieve and process this devastating loss."
Cryptic message appears on Knight's Instagram account
The Post noted that shortly after Knight's death was announced, a post appeared on her Instagram account featuring a selfie and a cryptic message.
"Whether I made you feel excluded, manipulated/controlled you, told you to quit your day job from the comfort of being financially supported by my parents, or drowned real issues in toxic positivity — I am sorry," it read.
"Countless missed opportunities and connections due to a disgustingly big ego, insecure heart and fear of being vulnerable. May my soul learn to evolve from my poor job at being Lucy-Bleu. Peace," the message went on to add.
Knight's mother Meegan Hodges replied with a comment in which she stated, "My baby girl! I love you with everything. I'm sorry."
Some Instagram users theorized that Knight had composed the post in advance and scheduled it to go up following her death.
No cause of death has been publicly revealed
The Post cited records from the Los Angeles Medical Examiner's Office which show that Knight passed away at a private residence. While an autopsy has been completed, the official cause of her death has not yet been publicly revealed.
In addition to Guns N' Roses, Slash also performs solo in his S.E.R.P.E.N.T tour. Organizers announced this week that upcoming tour dates have been canceled.
"Due to unforeseen circumstances, the S.E.R.P.E.N.T tour regrettably has to cancel the below performances. Refunds will be available at points of purchase," statement explained.
