Kamala Harris' husband Doug Emhoff has copped to cheating on his first wife with a woman he impregnated.

The Daily Mail first reported that Emhoff cheated on his wife Kerstin with their nanny.

Harris' hubby cops to cheating...

The newspaper said Emhoff had an affair with a nanny and teacher at the expensive private school where Emhoff sent his two kids.

The 2008-09 affair led to the demise of Emhoff's marriage, and the other woman, Najen Naylor, ended up leaving her job at the Willows, a private elementary school in Culver City, California.

Despite the betrayal, Emhoff and his first wife are on amicable terms.

“During my first marriage, Kerstin and I went through some tough times on account of my actions,” Emhoff said in a statement, first reported by CNN. “I took responsibility, and in the years since, we worked through things as a family and have come out stronger on the other side.”

Emhoff's ex-wife, Kerstin, defended Emhoff in a statement.

“Doug and I decided to end our marriage for a variety of reasons, many years ago,” she said. “He is a great father to our kids, continues to be a great friend to me and I am really proud of the warm and supportive blended family Doug, Kamala, and I have built together.”

Emhoff on masculinity

A friend told the Daily Mail that the nanny did not keep the baby, but did not specify what that entailed. However, the Harris campaign has emphasized preserving access to abortion, and some of Harris' supporters have celebrated abortion explicitly as something that empowers men to be irresponsible.

Emhoff's philandering was known to Kamala Harris when he married her, the Associated Press reported. It was also not a secret when the Biden team vetted Harris in 2020 to be vice president.

Harris has no children of her own. Her marriage to Emhoff is her first.

Since Harris launched her bid, liberals have celebrated her flamboyant husband as a role model for a more conscientious, less "toxic" form of masculinity.

Emhoff shared his own thoughts on "toxic" masculinity in an interview last year, condemning the idea that men "have to be tough, and angry, and lash out to be strong."

This cheating scandal is another reminder that manipulative weaklings like Emhoff are often the most toxic men around.
