Democrats have frequently pointed to the affair that former President Donald Trump allegedly had in 2006 with adult film star Stormy Daniels.

However, allegations have now emerged that that Vice President Kamala Harris may have had an affair of her own.

Sharon Stone's ex-husband refuses to comment

According to the Daily Mail, rumors have swirled "for years" that the vice president was involved with journalist Phil Bronstein roughly two decades ago while he was still married to actress Sharon Stone.

Bronstein would neither confirm nor deny the claim when questioned about it this week by a Daily Mail reporter, stating, "I understand you're only doing your job. But I'm not going to comment at all."

However, a former San Francisco official who was employed during the time that Harris served as district attorney in the city was more forthcoming.

"They were seen out together on numerous occasions. I know for a fact they were dating," the unnamed figure was quoted as telling the newspaper.

Harris previously had an affair with Willie Brown

If Harris did have an affair with Bronstein then would not have been her first relationship with a married man as she was also involved with former San Francisco Mayor Willie Brown.

As the Washington Examiner pointed out, Brown helped Harris secure a position with the California Medical Assistance Commission in 1994, a job which she held until 1998.

She received a salary of $70,000 per year, which would be worth roughly twice as much today when adjusted for inflation. Brown was 60 years old when their affair began while Harris was 30.

Meanwhile, Harris' husband, First Gentleman Doug Emhoff, has also received scrutiny for having an affair with a nanny during his first marriage to ex-wife Kerstin Emhoff.

Fox News reported that the nanny, who also worked at the elite private school where Mr. Emhoff's children attended, ultimately became pregnant.

"During my first marriage, Kerstin and I went through some tough times on account of my actions," Fox News quoted Emhoff as saying in a statement provided to CNN.

"I took responsibility, and in the years since, we worked through things as a family and have come out stronger on the other side," the first gentleman went on to insist.
