Harris rally gets interrupted by pro-Hamas protesters
Another one of Vice President Kamala Harris's presidential campaign rallies has been interrupted by pro-Hamas protestors.
The latest incident, according to Newsweek, took place on Friday at a rally in Glendale, Arizona.

A different approach
As mentioned at the outset, this is not the first time that Harris had one of her rallies interrupted by pro-Hamas activists. Another incident occurred at a recent rally in Michigan.
There is a key difference, however, between the two incidents. And, the difference is in the way Harris handled them.
The incident at the Michigan rally garnered national attention, in fact, for the way that she handled the situation. What she did was actually scold the protestors, saying, "You know what?" If you want Donald Trump to win, then say that. Otherwise, I’m speaking."
Harris, however, handled the Arizona incident completely differently.
Here's what she said:
You know what, hold on a second...Hold on, hold on, ever'body, hold on, hold on. Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. Here's the thing. We are all in here together, I'm told an extraordinary number of folks who are here, together, because we love our country. We're here to fight for our democracy.
Why the change?
If you are a Democrat running for office this year, then you have a problem. The problem is that a significant portion of your supporters are anti-Israel.
This is especially true if you are running for a national official like Harris is. The fact of the matter is that there are large anti-Israel populations in some swing states, swing states that could win or lose you the election.
Accordingly, Democrats like Harris have to find some way to walk the fence - to appease both pro-Israel and anti-Israel Democrats. This, of course, is an impossible task. But, this is not going to stop Harris from trying.
Many, in fact, believe that Harris picked Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz (D) to be her running mate - instead of Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro (D) - precisely for this reason.
As House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) recently put it, Harris could not choose Shapiro "because they have a pro-Hamas wing in the Democratic Party and she was afraid she’d start a civil war in their party."
