Victims' mothers blame Biden-Harris administration for letting killers into the country
During his debate with Vice President Kamala Harris this week, former President Donald Trump highlighted the threat posed by violent criminals coming across the southern border.
He isn't the only one to do so, as four mothers whose children were killed by illegal aliens recently spoke up on Capitol Hill.
Mother says "a war on our soil" could break out
According to the New York Post, the women appeared on Tuesday at a hearing held by the House Judiciary Committee called "The Biden-Harris Border Crisis: Victim Perspectives."
Among those to testify was Patty Morin. Her daughter Rachel Morin was allegedly raped and murdered by Victor Martinez Hernandez, who is originally from El Salvador
Morin was at one point asked by North Carolina Republican Rep. Dan Bishop whether she believes the border crisis "can get even worse than it is now."
The grieving woman replied that she fears "a war on our soil" could break out if the problem is not resolved. Bishop replied that the situation "is deadly" and "completely avoidable."
Autistic woman raped and killed by illegal MS-13 gang member
Morin added that she "was up in New England a week ago, and I was surprised at the amount of immigrants from the Congo, and from Sudan, and from South America in northern New England."
"That’s unheard of," the mother remarked before pointing out how "[i]n Massachusetts, they’ve spent over $1.5 billion" on migrant services.
Meanwhile, Tammy Nobles recalled how her 20-year-old autistic daughter Kayla Hamilton was raped and killed by MS-13 gang member Walter Javier Martinez.
Nobles filed a $100 million lawsuit against the Department of Homeland Security along with the Department of Health and Human Services earlier this year, arguing that both agencies failed her daughter by allowing Martinez into the country.
Men said to have raped and killed girl three weeks after being released
Alexis Nungaray also told lawmakers of how her 12-year-old daughter was raped and strangled to death, allegedly by two illegal immigrants from Venezuela.
"Because of the Biden-Harris administration open border policies, catch and release, they were enrolled in the Alternatives to Detention program," Nungaray explained.
"This meant that they were released into the United States," she continued. "It was not even a full three weeks later that they would take my daughter."
"This could have been anyone’s daughter. I don’t want any other parent to live the nightmare that I am living," the mother stressed.
