NYC mayor Eric Adams facing corruption indictment while President Joe and Hunter Biden are still getting off scot-free

Legendary New York Post columnist Cindy Adams pointed out on Monday that while the DOJ indicted New York City Mayor Eric Adams for getting payouts from at least six foreign governments, President Joe Biden and Hunter Biden are still walking around free men even though there's lots of evidence they are guilty of the same crimes, but on a national scale.

"We understood he wasn’t Churchill," the columnist said of the mayor who shares her last name. "BUT: Ghost Biden’s guilty son who sold his entire country still wanders about freely. Didn’t just screw one city. He screwed an entire nation."

"And he’s still bumbling around? And his father’s still fumbling around? And his uncle’s still stumbling around? And his government’s still crumbling around?" she rhetorically asked.

She suggested that Adams get the same treatment the Bidens have gotten, saying, "Do unto others as you would unto your president’s pled guilty son!"

The indictment

"Fine Eric. Make him repay what his buddies took. Let him limp along to the end of his term," she suggested.

Adams was indicted for bribery and campaign finance offenses on Thursday by Biden's DOJ.

The DOJ alleged that Adams accepted improper campaign contributions and other donations in exchange for favors that totaled in the millions of dollars.

FBI Assistant Director James E. Dennehy said: “Today’s indictment serves as a sobering moment but also sends a powerful message to every elected official in this country: public service is a profound responsibility, and it should be a noble calling.  When that’s perverted by greed and dishonesty, it robs us of our trust.  This is a reminder that no one is above the law or beyond reproach.”

In one of the scenarios, Adams pressured FDNY to skip the fire inspection for the Turkish consular building so that it could open in time for a visit from the Turkish president after receiving donations of free travel from a Turkish official.

This occurrence in 2021 took place when the building would have failed inspection.

What about the Bidens?

In contrast to Adams, the Bidens have been accused by Republicans of getting tens of millions of contributions from a number of foreign countries, but have not been indicted on these allegations.

Joe Biden repeatedly said that he had no involvement in his son Hunter's business associations, but the House Oversight Committee alleges that he met with nearly all of them, at least the ones who were giving money to him at the time.

Biden met with Russian and Kazakhstani oligarchs, a Burisma executive, and Chinese nationals, all of which gave Hunter Biden money.

Biden family associate Devon Archer testified to these meetings, which dated back to 2014, but the DOJ has no interest in corruption by the Bidens.
