Michelle Obama can relax - actress Jennifer Aniston has shut down rumors of an affair with Michelle's husband Barack.

A tabloid magazine suggested that Aniston is involved with Obama, but she shut down the speculation to Jimmy Kimmel.

Obama affair rumors

Aniston joked that she was flattered by the gossip, but it's not true.

“Of all the calls you get from your publicist where you’re like, ‘Oh no, what’s it gonna be?’ Or the emails saying some cheesy tabloid’s going to make up a story and then it’s that,” Aniston told Kimmel.

“I was not mad at it," she added. "I know Michelle [Obama] more than him.”

The August print edition of In Touch features Aniston and Obama on the cover. "The Truth about Jen & Barack!" the cover reads. "Michelle Betrayed as Aniston Steals Her Husband's Attention."

The magazine reported that Obama's growing involvement with Hollywood has brought him closer to Aniston. Obama and his wife Michelle have a movie production company, Higher Ground.

"With the election coming up in November, Jen has gotten very political, so sheʼs found herself in Barackʼs world a lot lately,” a source said. “Heʼs gone Hollywood, so heʼs now in Jenʼs world...They have found they have a lot in common — and are talking more and more.”

32 years strong

Aniston - who is unmarried- has become more vocal in the political realm, notably criticizing J.D. Vance for his comments about childless "cat ladies."

The Obamas marked their 32nd wedding anniversary on Thursday with personal notes to each other - which they made public.

"32 years together, and I couldn’t have asked for a better partner and friend to go through life with," Barack wrote.

The couple share two daughters, Malia, 26, and Sasha, 23.

Over the years, Obama has kept a clean-cut image, avoiding the affair rumors that have dogged many U.S. presidents.

Last year, Obama's sexuality became a subject of discussion after an old letter to an ex-girlfriend resurfaced, in which he described fantasies about intimacy with men.

“In regard to homosexuality, I must say that I believe this is an attempt to remove oneself from the present, a refusal perhaps to perpetuate the endless farce of earthly life. You see, I make love to men daily, but in the imagination,” Obama wrote in the 1982 letter.
