Vice President Kamala Harris did a rare interview on the "Call Her Daddy" podcast and fired back at the "childless" comments that she has received.

During the interview, Harris hit back at comments made by Arkansas Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders (R) who claimed that Harris has no biological children to keep her "humble" or to make her of the future that the next generation will inherit.

Harris's lack of biological children has been brought up on multiple occasions as a demerit against her as she lacks the experience to understand what American families struggling to raise families are going through.

Nonetheless, Harris hit back at these attacks claiming "This is not the 1950s anymore. Families come in all kinds of forms."

Detached from average Americans

These comments have done little to reassure Americans that Harris can see things from their point of view as Harris is espousing progressive rhetoric rather than actually showing how she will be a president for traditional nuclear families that are struggling the most right now.

Harris's response to the "childless" attacks demonstrates how detached she is from the average American which makes sense considering her upper-class upbringing.

Democrats have spent years ignoring nuclear families and catering to other less traditional lifestyles while ignoring that a majority of Americans are still living mostly traditional lifestyles.

Republican vice presidential nominee Senator J.D. Vance (OH) hit Harris the hardest with his "childless cat lady" comment which ignited outrage from childless cat ladies who make up a large bulk of the progressive movement.

Harris isn't entirely childless of course as she serves as stepmother to Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff's two adult children Ella, 25, and Cole, 30.

However, Harris's critics have pointed out that there is a difference between being a stepmother to adult children and being the biological mother of children you have raised from birth.

Sanders pointed this out in her attack on Harris saying, "My kids serve as a permanent reminder of everything that is at stake in the country. Not only do my kids serve as a permanent reminder of what is important, they keep me humble. My kids keep me humble."

Harris Family Troubles

Not only does Harris not have biological children, but there are rumblings around Harris's personal life thanks to her husband. Doug Emhoff is in the spotlight right now thanks to allegations that he physically abused an ex-girlfriend back in 2012.

Worse yet, former work associates of Emhoff have come forward to testify about his blatant misogyny and habit of retaliating against female subordinates who didn't respond to his advances.

When he was working at LA-based firm Venable, Emhoff revoked work perks from women who didn't flirt with him and took only young, attractive associates in a limousine to a ball.

While these allegations are unproven, it appears that Emhoff is the type of guy who the #MeToo movement was created to deal with. Considering what's coming out about Emhoff, Harris has some explaining to do.
