A popular reality TV star is in crisis mode as she deals with an unexpected health emergency involving a member of her family.

Whitney Rose, a star of "Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, revealed on Monday that he daughter Bobbie, 14, was rushed to the hospital after having trouble breathing, National World reported.

The young girl was reportedly placed in an intensive care unit and is receiving treatment for what was described as "severe asthma exacerbation."

Rushed to the ICU

"My beautiful community please pray for my angel daughter Bobbie Rose," Whitney Rose posted to her Instagram account on Monday. "I normally would never come on here to share something so vulnerable but we need prayers and good vibes right now. She was taken by ambulance to the ICU today for severe asthma exacerbation. Xoxo."

The reality TV star's husband, Justin Rose, similarly shared his daughter's health scare with his followers on social media as he posted a photo of her being loaded into the back of an ambulance and wrote as the caption, "Thoughts and prayers for a baby girl today. Struggling with her breathing."

A short time later, the worried mother returned to Instagram with another post that contained no new information about her daughter but thanked her followers for their support and urged, "Please keep praying for our angel."

Daughter doing better but still hospitalized

People magazine reported that Whitney Rose finally offered an update on her daughter Bobbie's condition on Tuesday and revealed that while she was doing better, she remained hospitalized for the time being.

"Thank you to everyone who has continued to reach out and check in on Bobbie Rose," Whitney wrote. "We are still in the ICU but she has finally seen a bit of improvement. She still has a long way to go, so no official updates yet."

"Thank you for all of your prayers, they are felt and working," she added. "Thank you for understanding our desire for privacy at this time, as you can imagine this has been very stressful. Bobbie is so brave and strong."

Rose further praised the "earth angels" who worked at the hospital and were taking care of her daughter while she recovered.

Forced to postpone scheduled late-night talk show appearance

Us Weekly reported that the hospitalization of her daughter has unsurprisingly upended Whitney Rose's professional life, in that she was forced to cancel a scheduled appearance on a popular late-night talk show.

Rose was set to appear on Bravo's "Watch What Happens Next" but postponed that appearance to an undetermined date so that she could stay by Bobbie's side in the hospital.

Taking Rose's place on the Bravo show, which is typically filmed and broadcast live on Wednesday nights, was her RHOSLC co-star Mary Cosby.

Whitney, who married Justin in 2009, shares two children with him -- Bobbie and Brooks, 11 -- and is stepmother to three of Justin's children from a previous marriage. Whitney's claim to fame on the "Real Housewives" series is that she is a jewelry designer and social media influencer.
