Former President Donald Trump recently announced a plan, if elected, he would use to remove many illegal immigrants from America. 

Breitbart News reports that Trump announced the plan, which he is calling "Operation Aurora," at a campaign rally that he held in Aurora, Colorado, on Friday.

Aurora has been one of those communities that has been hit the hardest by the influx of illegal immigrants into America, which has resulted from the Biden-Harris administration's open borders policy.

This all comes as polls suggest that the southern border could be one of the top issues for Americans in the 2024 presidential election.

For this particular operation, it appears that Trump will be targeting criminal illegal aliens.

Trump, at the rally, said:

In honor of Jocelyn Nungaray, Laken Riley — beautiful Laken — Rachel Morin, and all of the others that are dead, and/or mortally wounded at the hands of migrants who should never have been allowed into our country, I’m announcing today, that upon taking office, we will have an Operation Aurora at the federal level to expedite the removals of these savage gangs.

The former president said that he will "invoke the Alien Enemies Act of 1798" to carry this plan out.

The former president continued:

We will begin the task of finding and deporting every single illegal alien gang member from our country. We’ll get them out. This will be a major national undertaking.

Indeed, the statistics would suggest that the Biden-Harris administration has allowed a huge number - perhaps hundreds of thousands if not more - of illegal immigrants with criminal histories into the country.

The numbers

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has provided lawmakers with statistics on illegal immigrants residing in America with criminal records.

ICE told lawmakers:

Your letter requests the number of noncitizens on ICE’s docket convicted or charged with a crime. As of July 21, 2024, there were 662,566 noncitizens with criminal histories on ICE’s national docket, which includes those detained by ICE, and on the agency’s non-detained docket. Of those, 435,719 are convicted criminals [including 13,099 murders], and 226,847 have pending criminal charges.

Perhaps most shocking is the number of illegal immigrants in America who have been convicted - not just accused but actually convicted - of homicide.

"According to newly published data from ICE, there are now 13,099 illegal alien CONVICTED MURDERERS at large in the United States under Border Czar Kamala Harris," Just the News reports an official as saying.

It is a pretty good reason to vote for Trump and not for Harris.
