Republican vice-presidential candidate J.D. Vance shared a blunt diagnosis of Kamala Harris' "pathological" failure to acknowledge fault, as she persists in blaming Donald Trump for the failures of the Biden-Harris presidency.

During a tense interview with Fox News, Harris deflected anchor Brett Baier's tough questions about her record and attacked Trump repeatedly.

Kamala's brutal diagnosis

Despite being the current vice president, Harris attempted to paint Trump as the incumbent - urging Americans to move on "from the last decade" of Trump's "divisive rhetoric."

Harris did not admit fault for anything, including the record border crossings of the Biden-Harris presidency, instead blaming Trump for undermining an immigration bill that materialized in 2024 and would have allowed 1.8 million illegal crossings per year. She expressed sympathy for the murder victims of illegal aliens, but did not apologize directly.

Sharing his reaction on Fox and Friends, Vance balked at Harris' rigid, evasive messaging, calling her efforts to "pretend" that Trump is currently in office "bizarre."

"But we have to sort of step back and appreciate, there is something pathological going on here. She has been in power for three and a half years and when asked about how she would be different, she goes and talks about Donald Trump," Vance said.

Vance balked at Harris' flat-footed and unimaginative responses, sharing his recommendations on how he might answer if he were in her position.

"She can do any number of things, she can say, ‘Well, I think that things are a little bit better than you’re giving me credit for,’ or she can say, ‘Well, this wasn’t totally my fault.’"

Who's in office?

Vance - who won widespread praise for his polished debate performance against Tim Walz - balked at Harris' failure to acknowledge that she is in office currently.

"She says, ‘Well, you know, [Trump's] been talking about politics for 10 years,’" Vance said.

"I’ve never seen a person who's running for president, as the sitting vice president, who pretends that she has nothing to do with the condition of the country she’s been governing," Vance said.

While attacking Trump repeatedly, Harris pledged to forge her own path as president, just days after telling The View that she had no major criticism of Biden's approach.

Vance called Harris' vague promises of change impossible to believe.

"The entire theme of her campaign is that she hasn’t even met the person that’s the president, even though she’s his sitting vice president and ran along the ticket with him," Vance told Fox.
