Barron Trump has apparently made a positive impression on some of his fellow students at New York University, with one young woman asking the Daily Mail, "Who wouldn't want to be friends with a Trump?"

Yet despite this, Barron's famous father recently confirmed that his son is in no hurry to find a girlfriend.

"He doesn't mind being alone"

According to the New York Post, former President Donald Trump made that confession last week during an interview with podcast host Patrick Bet-David.

Trump was quick to praise his youngest child, saying that the 18-year-old is a "very nice guy" who is "very smart," and a "good student."

However, when Bet-David asked the former president whether his 6-foot-seven-inch son is "good with the ladies in school," Mr. Trump replied by saying, "I'm not sure he’s there yet."

"I don’t think he’s had a girlfriend yet," the Republican nominee continued before adding, "He doesn't mind being alone, but he's somebody that gets along with people."

Clip of Barron speaking brings comparisons to his father

Although Barron has kept a relatively low profile and has yet to speak publicly, the former president's son caused a stir earlier this year when his voice was caught on video.

According to the Daily Mail, the footage was originally posted online in May and it shows Barron Trump in conversation.

The younger Trump can be seen speaking with someone while attending an event held at Mar-a-Lago's ballroom, with the Daily Mail noting how "many people were shocked by how similar he sounded to his father, Donald Trump."

The newspaper pointed out how Barron's voice has "a deep and husky timbre, which surprised listeners." Meanwhile, one person remarked that he sounds like elder brother Donald Trump Jr.

Podcast host: Barron has "a good head on his shoulders"

Meanwhile, Bet-David spoke positively of Barron in April when he recalled attending a dinner which the president's son hosted.

Bet-David recounted how he and the other guests "watched Barron run dinner with stories, entertainment--everything."

Bet-David's fellow podcast host Vincent Oshana was at the dinner as well, and described the president's youngest son as being a "witty, smart, hilarious" individual with "a good head on his shoulders."
