Bill Clinton admits that Harris "is extremely vulnerable" to Republican attacks
Some Democrats are becoming increasingly nervous due to early vote figures which suggest that former President Donald Trump has gained momentum over Vice President Kamala Harris.
An example of that came this week when former President Bill Clinton let slip that Harris is "vulnerable."
Clinton: Harris "is extremely vulnerable" to attacks from Republicans
According to Breitbart, the former president made that uncomfortable admission while speaking at an event in Arizona on Thursday.
"She is extremely vulnerable, more vulnerable than she deserves to be, to crazy attacks," Clinton was quoted as saying of the Democratic nominee.
"So they've been thinking, the Republicans all this time, how can we go on the attack?" the two-term president went on to declare.
This is not the first time Clinton has raised eyebrows while on the campaign trail, as New York Post contributor Miranda Devine noted last week that he also mentioned a woman who was allegedly murdered by an illegal migrant.
Murder "probably wouldn't have happened" if suspect had been "properly vetted"
Clinton's remarks concerned Laken Riley, a 22-year-old Augusta University College nursing student whose body was discovered near her apartment building at the beginning of this year.
The man accused of murdering her is Jose Ibarra, a 26-year-old Venezuelan illegal migrant who is believed to be connected with the notorious gang known as Tren de Aragua.
While appearing at a campaign stop in Georgia, Clinton suggested that Riley's murder "probably wouldn't have happened" if her alleged killer had been "properly vetted."

The Hill pointed out that the Trump campaign quickly publicized Clinton's comments by using them in a new advertisement.
Trump campaign promises a secure border
"Kamala Harris claimed the border was 'secure' just days after Laken Riley's illegal immigrant killer Jose Ibarra crossed into the nation. Ibarra was caught at the border and then released into the country by Kamala Harris," the campaign ad asserted.
"President Trump will secure the border and stop catch-and-release," it said, adding, "This is why he was just endorsed by the Border Patrol Union."
Angel Ureña serves as a spokeswoman for Clinton, and she accused the Trump campaign of having "disingenuously" taken former President Clinton's remarks "out of context" in a statement provided to The Hill.
