Hillary Clinton campaigns for Harris as her husband makes multiple gaffes
Breitbart reported that former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is in Florida this weekend to promote her new book as well as support Vice President Kamala Harris.
Clinton's move may seem curious to some given how her husband recently made a number of gaffes that left the White House reeling.
Clinton will "chat about why fighting the good fight is always worth it"
Breitbart noted that Clinton will appear on Saturday at Tampa's Straz Center, an event which was touted in an Instagram post.
"Florida, some news!" the post read. "We’ll be in conversation on Saturday, November 2nd, in Tampa to talk over the topics of Hillary’s new book: life, love, and liberty."
"Take a break from getting out the vote and refill your cup with a chat about why fighting the good fight is always worth it," it added.
The failed 2016 presidential candidate's event is set to be moderated by Florida-based novelist and left-wing activist Lauren Groff.
Bill Clinton: Victim would "probably" be alive if killer was "properly vetted"
Meanwhile, former President Bill Clinton raised eyebrows while addressing reporters at a campaign stop in neighboring Georgia earlier this month.
New York Post contributor Miranda Devine noted how at one point Clinton remarked that Laken Riley's murder "probably wouldn't have happened" if her alleged killer had been "properly vetted."
Riley was a 22-year-old Augusta University College nursing student who was killed near her apartment building in February of this year.
The individual who stands accused of murdering Riley is Jose Ibarra, a 26-year-old Venezuelan illegal migrant who prosecutors maintain is connected with the notorious transnational gang known as Tren de Aragua.
The Hill observed that former President Donald Trump's campaign later highlighted Mr. Clinton's words in an advertisement.
Former president admits that the economy was better under Trump
This was in turn followed by another embarrassing incident last week when Clinton admitted to Harris supporters at a Michigan event that the economy was better under Trump than it currently is.

Breitbart pointed out that while Clinton's statements were met with "groans" from members of the audience, he nevertheless doubled down.
The former president insisted that he is "entitled to my opinion about who would be better" as he "did pretty well" during his two terms in Washington.
