Harris campaign sends Hillary Clinton to stump in red, non-swing state of Florida
Vice President Kamala Harris and her presidential campaign are beyond desperate with just a handful of days before Election Day.
According to Breitbart, the Harris campaign must be running out of options and plans because they reportedly called up failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton to stump for Harris in Florida.
The strategy, if you can call it that, is bad for so many reasons, including the fact that Clinton lost to former President Donald Trump, badly, in 2016, and additionally, Florida is pretty obviously a red state.
What the Harris campaign believes it can do in Florida at this point has many political observers scratching their heads. Some believe Harris is using Clinton as a substitute for her own VP running mate, Gov. Tim Walz, as he's clearly unable to get the job done.
What's going on?
Clinton, who is also pushing a new book while in Florida, will reportedly make a stop in Tampa over the weekend to encourage voters to back Harris and other Democrats running for office in the Sunshine State.
A local outlet reported:
According to an email from the Harris-Walz campaign, Clinton is joining supporters at 10:30 a.m. Saturday to encourage Floridians to vote for the Democratic nominees for president and vice president, as well as other Florida Democrats running for their respective offices.
Clinton will also make stops to promote her new book, which doesn't seem to be doing so well on store shelves.
Not only is Florida not a swing state where Harris should be spending any time or money, it's also decisively red, with over a million more registered Republican voters than Democrats.

Breitbart noted:
To make matters worse for Democrats, Republicans are leading the charge in early voting and mail-in voting combined in the Sunshine State, with traditionally blue counties such as Miami-Dade going red.
Social media reacts
Users across social media weighed in on Clinton's appearance for Harris in Florida, with many doubting the wisdom of the campaign.
"Nice way to make sure you lose FL, thanks for that," one X user wrote.
Another X user wrote, "They’re on pace to lose Florida by 18 points. Interesting strategy."
Others believe the Harris campaign is simply sending Clinton to somewhere that really doesn't matter for them, just to get her out of the way and prevent any last-minute screw-ups.
