Barron Trump was instrumental in helping Donald Trump win in a landslide
President-elect Donald Trump's youngest son, Barron Trump, now 18, played an instrumental role in his father's reelection campaign and, until now, hasn't really received the public credit he deserves.
According to the Washington Examiner, it was mostly thanks to Barron Trump that his father was able to rally young male voters across the country into voting for Mr. Trump, which turned out to be a critical demographic.
Barron Trump's strength was in his ability to identify the podcasts reaching the most young male voters. Many of the podcasters he suggested his father interview were friends of the youngest Trump son.
Political observers are now attributing Donald Trump's massive, amazing political comeback to his son's savviness with reaching millions of young men who might not have otherwise cast a vote either way.
What's going on?
Barron Trump reportedly liaisoned with his father's campaign staff leadership when deciding which podcasts his father should appear on, with all of them ultimately being hits.
The Examiner noted:
The former president’s youngest son is clued into all the hottest podcasts for Gen Z men, including This Past Weekend with Theo Von. When a staffer came to President-elect Donald Trump during the campaign to talk about making a podcast appearance, he asked if the plan had been run by Barron. The strategy ultimately resulted in the former president making more than a dozen podcast appearances en route to his Tuesday victory.
Barron explained to his father while he was on the campaign trail that young men of his generation certainly aren't watching Fox News, CNN or any traditional media outlets for their news consumption.
Rather, according to Barron, they tune into popular podcasts geared toward Gen Z audiences, which often intertwine opinion and commentary on current political events.
Mr. Trump eventually did podcast interviews with some of the biggest names in the podcast world -- with numbers that dwarf traditional media audiences.
A few of those include The Joe Rogan Experience and Logan Paul's podcast, which combined reached millions of potential voters.
Asking Barron first
Notably, throughout his presidential campaign, Mr. Trump would be pitched by his staffers regarding various potential podcast interviews, but President-elect Trump would direct the staff to ask his son, who was clued in on what's hot.
The strategy clearly paid massive dividends, as Donald Trump crushed Vice President Kamala Harris at the polls on Tuesday evening with one of the most impressive victories in history.
And much of the reason why Donald Trump won both the Electoral College and popular votes was due to the influx of new, young male voters who hit the ballot box on Tuesday.
Undoubtedly, Mr. Trump will look to his son if he ever needs to get an important message out to the young masses.
