Kai Trump is one of President-elect Donald Trump's granddaughters, and she delivered a well-received speech at this year's Republican National Convention (RNC).

Ms. Trump found herself back in the news this weekend when she recorded a video which featured her grandfather along with Texas Republican Sen. Ted Cruz and billionaire Elon Musk.

Musk provides details on rocket's launch

According to Breitbart, the video was recorded on a private jet that was traveling to Texas for a rocket launch by Musk's company SpaceX.

Musk can be heard providing information about the rocket's operation to President-elect Trump and Sen. Cruz, saying, "It only comes back to land if everything is, like, super green."

"And then we had some concerns about the tower, so it was commanded to land out in sea," the SpaceX founder and social media mogul explained.

"Amazing," the president-elect said in response before asking, "Can they use that again? Can they get it from the sea?"

"It's going to be … probably blow up. It's probably going to blow up is my guess. But, that’s fine. We actually have better versions that are in production in those factories over there," Musk said.

When Cruz inquired as to how the new versions will be better, Musk stated that the "next one we have has a lot of small improvements."

"There's a big version increase that'll be flying next year. That's got the version three of our engines — that'll look very different. It will be longer and have a lot more thrust and have the new generation engines," he went on to assert.

Reuters pointed out that the Starship rocket's first stage booster is known as "Super Heavy" and it stands some 233 tall. The booster is designed to detach upon reaching an altitude of 40 miles.

Musk identifies areas where the Trump administration can save money

Space travel isn't the only thing which has garnered attention for Musk in recent days, as he also generated headlines on Monday for his recent recommendations regarding federal spending.

Forbes magazine reported that Musk called for eliminating the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) and ending federal funding for progressive groups like Planned Parenthood.

Musk and former presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy lead the newly created  Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), a nongovernmental agency tasked with finding ways to save tax dollars.
