President-elect Donald Trump's marketing and business savvy has been on full display ever since he won his first election in 2016, and that hasn't changed a bit.

According to reports, Trump is now marketing his latest merchandise -- Trump "Victory" cologne. The fragrance was only available for a short time before it sold out, according to USA Today.

The original supplier of the cologne, which was available for purchase through a website called "Trump Sneakers," no longer has it available for sale, but the resale value of the cologne is making small profits for some.

The limited cologne can be found on eBay for higher prices for those who really want to snag a bottle.

What's going on?

The description of the cologne, as read on the website that sells it, calls it a "signature scent of strength and success, encased in a luxurious gold bottle."

USA Today noted:

The fragrance is yet another product in the large collection of merchandise promoting Trump after items such as coins, watches, sneakers, Bibles, digital trading cards and hats were released while he was on the campaign trail.

Trump's offering of unique merchandise to his followers has unsurprisingly sparked backlash from critics, with some claiming that he has monetized the presidency for his own gain, including Don Fox, former general counsel for the U.S. Office of Government Ethics.

"There’s no precedent in history at all, and certainly not in modern history, for somebody who has monetized the office or running for office of president the way he has," Fox told The Washington Post.

Trump also has another cologne available for sale called "Fight, Fight, Fight," a takeoff of his iconic words when he was nearly assassinated earlier this year at a Pennsylvania MAGA rally.

The president-elect has licensed out his signature name to a company called CIC Ventures LLC -- the makers of the fragrance line. They are reportedly based out of West Palm Beach, Florida.

Other products

The 45th -- and now 47th -- president has also launched a line of luxury watches for sale, which have sold well.

That, along with limited edition sneakers, guitars, and NFTs (non-fungible tokens) has made Trump a pretty penny over the last year or so.

Melania Trump also has a popular fragrance that quickly sold out, and has often pushed her own line of NFTs, which seem to be quite popular.

Let the haters hate. Trump is a brilliant businessman, and they're only jealous because they can't move product like he can.
