Donald Trump Jr. has reportedly broken up with fiancée Kimberly Guilfoyle
The New York Times revealed this week that President-elect Donald Trump is nominating his son's fiancée to serve as ambassador to Greece.
However, the news was overshadowed by a recent report suggesting that the couple have already split up.
Sources say Donald Trump Jr. is now dating socialite Bettina Anderson
According to Page Six, Donald Trump Jr. is no longer engaged to Kimberly Guilfoyle and is instead Palm Beach socialite Bettina Anderson.
One unidentified source was quoted as telling Page Six that "Don and Kimberly haven’t been getting along over the past year."
"They get argumentative at Mar-a-Lago in front of people. Nothing crazy, but you know when a couple is fighting. They bicker in public," the source added.
Page Six reported that 38-year-old Anderson is the daughter of philanthropists Harry Loy Anderson Jr. and Inger Anderson.
Another source told the outlet that "Bettina and Don have been together for a few months, and are super cute and happy together," adding, "It's just a natural fit — everyone is happy for them!"
President-elect praises Guilfoyle for being "a close friend and ally"
Meanwhile, CBS News pointed out that President-elect Trump spoke highly of Guilfoyle in a statement he released on Tuesday.

"For many years, Kimberly has been a close friend and ally," Trump declared. "Her extensive experience and leadership in law, media, and politics along with her sharp intellect make her supremely qualified to represent the United States, and safeguard its interests abroad."
"Kimberly is perfectly suited to foster strong bilateral relations with Greece, advancing our interests on issues ranging from defense cooperation to trade and economic innovation."
Guilfoyle spoke at RNC and was present for Trump's victory speech
Guilfoyle responded with a social media post, saying, "I'm honored to accept President Trump's nomination to serve as the next Ambassador to Greece and I look forward to earning the support of the U.S. Senate."
"As ambassador, I look forward to delivering on the Trump agenda, supporting our Greek allies, and ushering in a new era of peace and prosperity," she went on to add.
CBS News noted that Guilfoyle was on stage for Trump's victory speech on Election Day and also spoke at the Republican National Convention held in Milwaukee.
