Mitch McConnell experiencing stiffness in his leg after suffering a fall on Tuesday
Former Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell has experienced no shortage of health concerns over the past several years.
The latest example came this week when the Kentucky Republican was forced to work from home due to stiffness in his leg.
McConnell suffered a fall following a Senate GOP lunch on Tuesday
That's according to CNN, which reported on Thursday that McConnell is still struggling with the effects of a fall which he sustained two days earlier.
The fall was first revealed on social media by Punch Bowl News founder John Bresnahan, who said that it took place following a Senate Republican lunch on Tuesday and resulted in a cut on McConnell's face.

This was far from being McConnell's first time falling, as he also tumbled while disembarking from a plane at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport 17 months ago.
Senator has been seen freezing up at multiple public events
What's more, that incident came just four months after the longtime senator received a concussion along with a minor rib fracture from an earlier fall.
Yet another fall took place five years ago at his home in Louisville, Kentucky home which left him with a fracture in his shoulder.
Falls have not been McConnell's only problem, as the 82-year-old lawmaker has also been observed freezing up at multiple public events.
Those struggles may have been a factor in McConnell's announcement this past February that he was stepping down as Senate minority leader and would not seek another term in office.
McConnell: "It's time to move on to life’s next chapter"
"One of life's most underappreciated talents is to know when it’s time to move on to life’s next chapter," Fox News quoted McConnell as saying in a speech from the Senate floor.
"So I stand before you today... to say that this will be my last term as Republican leader of the Senate," the veteran Republican continued.
"As I have been thinking about when I would deliver some news to the Senate, I always imagined a moment when I had total clarity and peace about the sunset of my work," he went on to stress.
"A moment when I am certain I have helped preserve the ideals I so strongly believe. It arrived today," McConnell declared. He has since been replaced as GOP leader by South Dakota Republican Sen. John Thune.
