Biden took nap while Gold Star families waited for him
A new report reveals that President Joe Biden actually forced Gold Star family members to wait for him - for hours - while he took a nap.
This is according to a new report from the New York Post.
This has to do with the Biden administration's botched withdrawal of Americans from Afghanistan, early on in his administration. The Post recalls, "On Aug. 26, Taliban terrorists killed 13 Americans soldiers and more than 170 Afghans at Kabul International Airport’s Abbey Gate in Afghanistan."
That is not to mention the billions of dollars worth of military equipment that Biden left behind. It is also not to mention the devastating effect that this disaster had on global affairs, enabling some of the world's bad actors.
Here's what really happened:
Biden has already faced tremendous criticism not just for his mishandling of the withdrawal but also for the way he handled the "dignified transfer."
You, the reader, will likely remember the reports of Biden looking at his watch while the transfer took place, as if he had a better place to be.
Well, it now turns out that there is even more to the story.
The Daily Mail reports:
Joe Biden kept the grieving relatives of the Marines killed in Afghanistan waiting for three hours while he napped on Air Force One on the tarmac before a dignified transfer, multiple military families have told Daily Mail.
This is only a small part of what is now a much bigger scandal.
Who has been running the country?
Last week, another report revealed that the White House actually covered up Biden's decline for virtually his entire presidency.
The New York Post reported:
White House aides covered up President Biden’s apparent mental decline from Day 1 of his presidency, shielding the aging commander-in-chief from the public and even rearranging his schedule after scatterbrained performances, an explosive report revealed Thursday.
During this same time period, of course, members of the White House insisted that Biden was in good shape. Rumors suggested otherwise, and now it would appear that those rumors were true.
The Post writes:
Presidential staff formed a tight shell around Biden, 82, right after he took office amid the COVID-19 pandemic, with staff immediately limiting his in-person interactions in January 2021. But staffers also began making adjustments to daily plans when the president appeared tired or kept stumbling on the world stage — both figuratively and literally. By spring 2021, meetings were being rescheduled to accommodate for his “good days and bad days.”
Thankfully, it is now only a few weeks before we get a real president back in the White House.
