Next Secret Service director named
It appears that President-Elect Donald Trump has selected the man whom he wants to be the next director of the U.S. Secret Service.
This individual is Sean Curran, the man who has been the leader of his personal Secret Service detail.
The catch is that, at the time of this writing, Trump himself has not announced his selection of Curran. Rather, the pick was revealed by Trump's oldest son, Donald Trump, Jr. Take a look:
🚨 #BREAKING: President Trump will be naming Sean Curran, who heads his personal detail, to be Secret Service Director.
Sean is a great patriot and will stop all the insanity once and for all. There’s not a better person to be in this position!

What we know so far:
Trump Jr., via his social media account, announced Curran as his father's pick for Secret Service director.
He wrote:
#BREAKING: President Trump will be naming Sean Curran, who heads his personal detail, to be Secret Service Director. Sean is a great patriot and will stop all the insanity once and for all. There’s not a better person to be in this position!
The question is whether this is official of not. Trump himself has on many occasions said that if he does not announce something himself then it is not official. So, there is a possibility that Trump Jr. is just testing the waters here.
If Trump were to pick Curran, however, it would not be that surprising.
He has been widely considered among those whom Trump is considering for the position, and the reason why is obvious.
For those unfamiliar with Curran...
Fox News provides the details about the Curran.
Per the outlet:
Curran was among the group of heroic agents who rushed on stage to shield Trump with their bodies during a failed assassination attempt in Butler, Pennsylvania, that left two dead and the candidate with an injury to his ear.
In fact, if you were to go on the internet and look up random pictures of Trump with his Secret Service detail, you would see Curran quite often. This is because Curran is currently the head of President-elect Trump's personal Secret Service security detail. Basically, wherever Trump goes, Curran is not too far behind.
For these reasons, it is not that surprising that Trump is going with Curran - if this is indeed the case.
It, however, may be a little disappointing for those who were hoping that Trump might pick Don Bongino.
