President Donald Trump just blew up some ISIS terrorists. 

On Saturday, the president announced, via Truth Social, that he had ordered the strike, which, according to him, was a big success.

Here's what happened:

The New York Post reports that the target of the attack was "a senior ISIS attack planner." This individual was located by the U.S. military in Somalia.

"The strike took out the ISIS operatives in the Cal-Miskaad mountains in the Bahaya region in the war-torn Eastern African nation," the outlet reports.

Trump's secretary of defense, Pete Hegseth, has confirmed that "multiple operatives were killed" in the air strike.

In a statement, Hegseth wrote:

Our initial assessment is that multiple operatives were killed in the airstrikes and no civilians were harmed. This action further degrades ISIS's ability to plot and conduct terrorist attacks threatening U.S. citizens, our partners, and innocent civilians and sends a clear signal that the United States always stands ready to find and eliminate terrorists who threaten the United States and our allies, even as we conduct robust border-protection and many other operations under President Trump's leadership.

In other words, it would appear that the operation was a big success.

"We will find you..."

After the strike was revealed, Trump announced that he ordered it.

He wrote:

This morning I ordered precision Military air strikes on the Senior ISIS Attack Planner and other terrorists he recruited and led in Somalia. These killers, who we found hiding in caves, threatened the United States and our Allies. The strikes destroyed the caves they live in, and killed many terrorists without, in any way, harming civilians.

Trump went on to highlight the fact that former President Joe Biden had the opportunity to do this but refused to.

He wrote, "Our Military has targeted this ISIS Attack Planner for years, but Biden and his cronies wouldn’t act quickly enough to get the job done. I did!"

Trump concluded, "The message to ISIS and all others who would attack Americans is that 'WE WILL FIND YOU, AND WE WILL KILL YOU!'"
