As President Donald Trump closes in on the finish line as far as getting his people confirmed in the Senate, the leftist media and Democrats are doing everything they can to hamstring the process.

According to the ultra-left-leaning Daily Mail, the latest obsession by the anti-Trump media is his new attorney general, Pam Bondi.

The outlet did an entire piece on her former marriages and "love life," presumably in an attempt to complain about something other than the price of eggs or whatever the leftist talking points are this week.

The piece reeked of desperation, as the left has seemingly finally ran out of attacks on Trump and his Cabinet.

What did it say?

In a drivel-filled piece, the Daily Mail broke down Bondi's past marriages and engagements, noting that the first one to Garret Barnes in 1990, when she was just 24 years old.

It noted that the marriage to Barnes was "short-lived," lasting only 22 months.

The Daily Mail noted:

In 1996, Bondi went on to marry Scott Fitzgerald but that union also ended in divorce in 2002.

Ten years later, Bondi - who holds a Bachelor of Arts in criminal justice - got engaged to ophthalmologist Greg Henderson.

The pair sparked rumors that they had secretly wed that same year in 2012 after being photographed at a luxury Caribbean resort, with Bondi wearing a white dress.

She later clarified to a local newspaper outlet that the destination wedding had been canceled as they instead opted to marry at a local church.

"We are enjoying a happy and blessed trip and are deeply in love with each other," she said at the time in a statement regarding her trip with Henderson.

Rumors would later emerge in 2015 that Bondi had split with Henderson, though it wasn't confirmed at the time given that she kept her private life very private. And for good reason.

Current relationship

Bondi's current relationship with Wakefield has been noted through several Instagram pictures with the two included.

The Daily Mail added:

Her Instagram profile picture is one of her and Wakefield, and the most recent photo of them together was shared on October 22 last year, which was taken at a Buccaneers game.

He appears to have to have three children from a previous relationship as his Instagram bio reads: 'My three monster children are roaming the world.'

What's profoundly more important than her past and current relationships is the fact that Bondi will ultimately help President Donald Trump reform the Justice Department.

Trump's supporters couldn't care less about her past relationships. They care about what she can do for the American justice system moving forward.
