Under the direction of President Donald Trump, who vowed to uncover as much government waste as possible, Elon Musk and his army of DOGE "nerds" are putting virtually every bloated government agency on notice.

According to the Daily Mail, Musk and his waste-busting unit reportedly stormed the Department of Education on Tuesday and began uncovering mountains of wasteful spending.

All told, Musk and his team quickly uncovered a staggering $900 million in government waste.

Triggered Democrats reported that DoE staffers were "hysterical" and scared as Musk and his team entered the premises to slash decades of wasteful spending to save U.S. taxpayers mountains of money.

What happened?

Rep. Melanie Stansbury (D-NM) was one of the first triggered, TDS-stricken Dem lawmakers to engage in dramatics as she described the "terror" unfolding at the Department of Education.

"They are in the building, on the 6th floor, canceling grants and contracts," Stansbury said in a rant.

"It's not legal. They know it's not legal. But they're doing it anyway," Stansbury continued. "The only recourse we have right now is to to go the courts."

She went as far as predicting that the Department of Education, which Trump has long said was not even a necessary agency, would be "dismantled" in a matter of days after Musk and his team are finished with it.

The Daily Mail noted:

Most Republicans believe the department employs some of the most activist liberal bureaucrats in the federal government.

Slash and burn

Musk and DOGE have already canceled dozens of DoE contracts worth an estimated $881 million, and they're just getting started.

They also tackled the DEI section of the agency, canceling some 29 training grants worth just over $100 million.

Adding even more fun to the mix was the fact that Democratic lawmakers were not allowed in the building during the time Musk and DOGE were inside of it.

This is going to be an amazing four years ahead.
