Trump official mocks former Biden press secretary Jen Psaki for personalized note cards
Steven Cheung, the director of communications for Trump’s White House, took to X to mock former Biden press secretary Jen Psaki for having personalized note cards.
Psaki's personalized note cards were apparently left behind and discovered by Cheung at the White House. He then posted an image of the cards on X, calling out Psaki for being arrogant and obsessed with how "important" she was.
Cheung wrote on X, "A relic of the past found in a random cabinet in the White House. Apparently @jrpsaki was soooooo important she had personalized note cards made to remind people how ‘important’ she was."
Psaki was press secretary for President Joe Biden from January 2021 to May 2022 before leaving for MSNBC and being replaced by Karine Jean-Pierre.
Neither Psaki nor Jean-Pierre were particularly well-liked as their press conferences were rare and often involved dodging questions on difficult subjects related to Biden's terrible performance.
Cheung Vs. Psaki
It didn't take long for Psaki to hop on X and hit back at Cheung, saying, "Would hope you had more important things to worry about (you know the cost of eggs, childcare, veterans waiting for care…could literally go on) but hey since you raised it I purchased these myself to write notes to colleagues and staff to thank them for their work and also to write back to people who wrote me including kids."
Ironic to see Psaki asking questions about issues created by her former boss. Under President Joe Biden, inflation increased the price of groceries, childcare, and healthcare.
Furthermore, in Biden's four years, nearly nothing substantial was done to improve healthcare for America's most deserving veterans who risked their lives for the nation.
Despite earning the ire of many Americans as Biden's question-dodging press secretary, Psaki landed a cush deal with MSNBC hosting her own show titled, “Inside with Jen Psaki."
From her cushy new job at MSNBC, Psaki has escaped the constant humiliation ritual of being Biden's press secretary, but she also has little influence for someone who clearly has a high opinion of herself.
It's unclear why her personalized notes were left at the White House over two years after she left, but these notes have given an insight into Psaki's personality.
Trump Transparency
Cheung has every advantage in taking shots at Psaki due to the Trump administration's reforms pushing transparency at every level of government.
The former Biden administration was famously non-transparent with President Biden rarely appearing himself while Psaki was often left to give out no information to Americans looking for answers as inflation crushed their savings.
Furthermore, Psaki's future at MSNBC is also in question as MSNBC is shifting its lineup in reaction to viewers flocking to Fox News and away from leftist figures in news after the presidential election.
Cheung is working in the White House making history while Psaki worries about job security at MSNBC in an increasingly hostile world for leftists.
