Donald Trump used much of his time campaigning to hit Joe Biden and Kamala Harris on the terrible job they did at America's southern border. During Joe Biden's presidency, the border became less secure and more dangerous, and Donald Trump promised to reverse that trend. Trump's administration has already been working hard to make that promise a reality.

FBI Director Kash Patel recently announced that 8 Mexicans who had been wanted for murder and drug trafficking have been arrested, Breitbart reports.

It's a massive win for Americans who want to make sure that the White House is serious about limiting the amount of drugs and criminals flowing over our open southern border.

The announcement

Kash Patel backed Trump up on the idea that America needs to take its border security more seriously than it did when Joe Biden was president: "The FBI and our partners will scour the ends of the earth to bring terrorists and cartel members to justice," Patel said in a statement. "The era of harming Americans and walking free is over."

A social media post by the FBI reiterating this idea included a link to a press release indicating that Patel's FBI had picked up eight of the most dangerous criminals on our wanted list.

Perhaps the headliner of the eight men arrested was Rafael Caro Quintero, who was formerly on America's Top Ten Most Wanted list for his involvement in the kidnapping and killing of an American DEA Special Agent in 1985:

"Caro‐Quintero is widely regarded as one of the Mexican godfathers of drug trafficking and helped to form the Guadalajara Cartel in the late 1970s. Allegedly, he became one of the primary suppliers of heroin, cocaine, and marijuana to the U.S., and oversaw the cartel in Costa Rica and the U.S. and Mexico border," the FBI said.

Other fugitives

Alder Marin Stelo has been facing homicide charges stemming from the August 11, 2022, killing of law enforcement officer Deputy Ned Byrd of the Wake County, North Carolina Sheriff’s Office.

Jose Rodolfo Villareal-Hernández, known as "El Gato," was also apprehended. He was responsible for ordering the murder of an age 43 victim in 2013 in Texas, the FBI said.

Rodolfo Lopez Ibarra was wanted on drug-trafficking charges.

Andrew Clark allegedly ran and participated in an operation that shipped hundreds of kilograms of cocaine from Colombia to Canada.

Luis Geraldo Méndez Estevane faces several charges, including murder, racketeering, and drug conspiracy.

Vicente Carrillo Fuentes faces narcotrafficking charges.

Thank goodness these dangerous people have finally been caught.
