For much of the past year, former President Barack Obama has faced rumors that he engaged in an affair with actress Jennifer Aniston, leading to speculation about a possible divorce.

Although former First Lady Michelle Obama did not address the matter, she did spill details this week concerning a point of contention in her marriage.

Mr. and Mrs. Obama once debated whether to have a third child

According to the Daily Mail, Mrs. Obama acknowledged on Thursday that she and the former president once clashed over whether to have a third child.

She discussed the matter during an appearance on Kylie Kelce's "Not Gonna Lie" podcast, saying, "I was like, "I think I've been lucky with these two."' The former first lady was speaking in reference to daughters Malia, who is 26, and Sasha, who is 23.

Mrs. Obama then recalled feeling apprehensive over what a third child might be like when her husband suggested having one, stating, "Dude! We're gonna get a crazy one."

What's more, she spoke of having difficult emotions in her early years of parenthood, explaining, "I think the sadness or the postpartum that I felt with my kids really came from, like, you love these babies so much."

"You immediately, you're connected, and you think, "Oh my god, all you have is me. I feel so bad for you," the former first lady added.

"Dude, you need a bunch of women in your life to smack you around"

At one point in their conversation, Kelce noted how her husband, professional football player Jason Kelce, also has daughters.

"That's because that's what your husband deserved," Mrs. Obama remarked before adding, "That's what I told Barack: 'Dude, you need a bunch of women in your life to smack you around.'"

Later, the former first lady explained that her two children are a big part of the reason why she has decided to largely avoid politics since leaving the White House.

Mrs. Obama says her daughters have "already served their time"

"I wanted them to have the freedom of not having the eyes of the world on them," she said of her daughters. "And so when people ask me would I ever run, the answer is no."

"If you ask me that, then you have absolutely no idea the sacrifice that your kids make when your parents are in that role," Mrs. Obama asserted.

"The thought of, like, putting my girls back into that spotlight when they are just now establishing themselves," she stressed. "I think we've done enough … they've already served their time."
