Barron Trump, the youngest of the Trump family, just turned 19 last week, and his college career is off to a roaring and successful start by all accounts.

According to reports, during a recent interview, President Donald Trump shed some light on what his youngest son's career ambitions might be, and according to the president, it probably won't be a path to the White House.

Barron Trump was widely credited for his influence and assistance in his father's 2024 presidential campaign, as he is the one who put his dad on to doing interviews with younger, popular podcasters who reach millions of listeners every week.

And the strategy was an absolute winner, as Trump picked up support from demographics Republicans usually can't capture at that rate.

What's he going to do?

During an interview with Fox news host Laura Ingraham, President Trump heaped praise on his youngest son, calling him a "very smart guy" while giving viewers a glimpse at what Barron might have under consideration for a future career.

While Barron Trump is currently studying business at New York University's Stern School of Business, his aptitude, according to his father, seems to lie more in the technology realm.

"Is Barron’s aptitude in your view business or politics," Ingraham asked the president, to which he replied, "maybe technology."

He can look at a computer... I turn off his laptop, I said, ‘Oh good,’ and I go back about five minutes later, he’s got his laptop, I say, ‘How do you do that?’"

Melania Trump, Barron's mother, is also extremely proud of her son, often bragging on him during interviews.

In an interview that took place in early December, the first lady also heaped praise on her son's abilities an intelligence.

"I’m very proud of him about his knowledge, even about politics and giving an advice to his father — he brought in so many young people. He knows his generation, because nowadays the young generation, they don’t sit in front of TV anymore,” Melania Trump said at the time.

She added, "He was very vocal, and he gave an advice to his father, and was incredible how he brought in a success because he knew exactly who his father needs to contact and to talk to."

While many would love to see Barron Trump follow in his dad's footsteps, no matter what he chooses, he'll likely be amazing at it.
