President Donald Trump has appointed White House counsel Alina Habba as his next interim U.S. Attorney for the state of New Jersey.

Habba has been chosen to replace the current interim U.S. Attorney John Giordano who was nominated by Trump as the ambassador to the African country of Namibia. 

Habba acknowledged the nomination in a post to X, saying, "I am honored to serve my home state of New Jersey as Interim U.S. Attorney and I am grateful to President Trump for entrusting me with this tremendous responsibility."

She continued by saying, "Just like I did during my time as President Trump’s personal attorney, I will continue to fight for truth and justice. We will end the weaponization of justice, once and for all."

Habba fought at Trump's side for years, and now she has been awarded a prominent position in return for her long and loyal service to Trump.

Face of Trump's legal team

Alina Habba was the face of Trump's legal team and led the fight against the multiple criminal indictments that Trump has faced over the past three years.

Habba was so important to Trump that he praised her as a tireless advocate for "justice" in America amid multiple political indictments designed to torpedo Trump's political ambitions.

In a post to Truth Social, Trump stated, "Alina will lead with the same diligence and conviction that has defined her career and she will fight tirelessly to secure a Legal System that is both “Fair and Just” for the wonderful people of New Jersey."

Without Habba's hard work in defending Trump against multiple indictments, it's possible that Democrats would have succeeded in sinking Trump's reelection campaign.

Democrats knew that their cases against Trump were weak and would eventually fail, but the mission was to overwhelm Trump and saturate the news cycle with stories about Trump's legal trouble.

Every criminal case against Trump collapsed as predicted, and Trump prevailed to win a 2nd term in the White House. Now Habba's mission is to combat the corruption of the justice system outside of Trump.

Significant Legal Battles

Habba, along with other Trump allies, has a daunting task ahead of them over the next four years. While the criminal indictments against Trump were defeated, the people who politicized the DOJ must be held accountable.

Furthermore, Habba has to find out how to prevent future politicization of the justice system to ensure that no one endures what Trump endured for years again.

Leftist judges and activist attorneys will do everything in their power to stop reforms, but if anyone can get it done, Alina Habba is the woman who can fix the American justice system.
