Critics of former President Joe Biden's open border policy often suggest that the influx of migration into the United States was not simply the result of incompetence or indifference, but was rather an intentional plan to reshape the nation's demographics for the benefit of the political left.

Now that Elon Musk and the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) have begun delving into Social Security, Medicaid, and Medicare data as part of the Trump administration's cost-cutting push, it appears that startling numbers of illegal immigrants who arrived on Biden's watch have indeed made their way onto the voter rolls, with some having cast ballots in the November election, as Breitbart reports.

DOGE official tells all

It was not long ago that Musk suggested that there may be millions of recent illegal arrivals to the United States who have managed to obtain Social Security numbers, permitting them to access all sorts of government benefits and perhaps even to vote.

That assertion has, according to DOGE official Antonio Gracias, been borne out by the work in which he and his colleagues have been engaged since January, and during an appearance on the All In podcast, Gracias offered insight into precisely how migrants paroled into the country's interior during the Biden years secured Social Security numbers and what kinds of alarming implications that fact has for the country.

Gracias explained, “[Border Patrol] was giving people at times Notices to Appear [NTAs], and what that allows you to do is come in the country and then you're scheduled a court date like six years out.”

During that lengthy wait time, he added, migrants had the ability to complete an asylum application and a form for work authorization, which triggered the receipt of a Social Security card, all without any sort of interview or other form of identification verification.

Because of this, Gracias added, “We mapped this through the benefits programs, we found every benefits program that is being accessed by these people, 1.3 million are on Medicaid right now, today,” and he noted that after looking at voter rolls, “we found that thousands are registered to vote in friendly states...and found that many of those people had actually voted.”

Staggering numbers revealed

As Fox News reported, during a recent get out the vote event in Wisconsin, Musk and Gracias joined forces to explain the sheer scope of the problem, with the latter stating, “We started at the top of the system, mapping the whole system of Social Security to understand where all the fraud was.”

He then pointed to a chart showing the number of noncitizens who obtained Social Security numbers during the years spanning FY 2021 and 2025, with the total rising to over 2 million in FY 2024.

“This literally blew us away. We went there to find fraud and we found this by accident,” Gracias said.

Musk echoed that sentiment of concern, declaring, “This is a mind-blowing chart.”

During his podcast interview, Gracias noted, “This is the tip of the iceberg, guys. This doesn't include the 7.8 million that ICE has that have come in illegally that we know are here and all the people who are here illegally who we don't know are here,” and he further suggested, “Yeah, I think this was a move to import voters.”

Trump crackdown continues

Amid the aforementioned revelations, the Trump administration is not slowing its pace when it comes to cracking down on immigration, with the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) announcing this week that over 900,000 migrants who entered the U.S. temporarily via the Biden-era CBP One app must leave immediately

The move comes on the heels of a previous announcement from DHS revoking a separate form of parole given to more than 500,000 arrivals from Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua, and Venezuela as well as a host of other efforts to alleviate the Biden policies that current administration officials say “fueled the worst border crisis in U.S. history.”
