Obama's portrait moved to make way for painting of Trump's assassination attempt
President Donald Trump made headlines last year when he was grazed by a would-be-assassin's bullet while speaking at a campaign event in Pennsylvania.
This past week saw a portrait of former President Barack Obama moved so as to make room for an image commemorating the near disaster.
Painting show Trump with his fist raised
According to The Hill, the image was put up in the White House on Friday and it shows a bloodied Trump defiantly raising his fist in the air as an American flag can be seen flying in the background.

The Hill noted that a White House spokesperson did not respond to a request for details concerning the artist who created the painting.
The website also pointed out how the painting occupies a spot which was previously held by former President Obama's portrait.
"Not usual" for White House paintings to be rearranged
White House spokesperson Harrison Fields explained in a social media post on Friday that Obama's portrait can be viewed in the Entrance Hall of the White House State Floor.
This is apparently the same location in which a portrait of former President George W. Bush had previously been hung up.
The Hill pointed out how it is "not unusual" for White House paintings to be rearranged whenever a new president takes the oath of office.
It also explained that Obama's portrait was the work of painter Robert McCurdy, who depicted the former president in front of a white background.
Biden called Obama one of "the most consequential presidents in our history"
The Hill recalled how Obama's picture was originally unveiled by then President Joe Biden during a ceremony in September of 2022.
When presenting the portrait along with a painting of former First Lady Michelle Obama, Biden hailed his predecessor as being among "the most consequential presidents in our history."
"There are a few people I’ve ever known with more integrity, decency and moral courage than Barack Obama," Biden went on to add.
Former President Obama spoke up as well, saying, "These portraits have a special significance because, as Joe mentioned, they will hang in the White House alongside portraits of other presidents and first ladies dating back to George and Martha."
