President Donald Trump once again confirmed that it was his son Barron Trump who was behind the 2024 campaign strategy of having his father meet up with several influencers, including comedian Theo Von.

Trump, according to the New York Postdid so during the recent speech that he gave to U.S. troops at the Al Udeid Air Base.

Interestingly, Theo Von himself was on hand.

Trump even called him out.

"Where's Theo?"

The president began, "I want to influence you to clap for a man who’s a great influencer. In fact, my son, Barron, said, ‘Dad, you got to do an interview’ with somebody I hadn’t heard of. But my son knew very well."

Trump continued to recall the story of how Barron Trump helped him in his 2024 campaign.

He went on, saying:

This is before the election. You know, we won in a landslide, in case you hadn’t known, but he said, ‘Dad, you got to do an interview with a guy named Theo Von.’ I said, ‘Who the hell is Theo Von?’ He said, ‘Dad, he’s such a big guy. You got to do an interview.’ So he knew all the names.

At this point, the president proceeded to call Theo, who was in the crowd, out.

He said:

Where is Theo? He’s around here someplace, I think. Theo, thank you very much. We had a good time, right? A good time. We had like 270 million people that listened. So you know what? I think Barron was right. Thank you for being here, Theo.

"Incredible" advice

There has been some minor dispute in the Trump camp about whether or not Barron is solely responsible for this campaign strategy. Whatever the case may be, the president has been giving his son all of the credit.

First Lady Melania Trump also praised Barron for this strategy, back in December.

She said:

I'm very proud of [Barron] about his knowledge, about politics, and giving advice to his father. He knows nowadays the younger generation, they don't sit in front of TV anymore. They are all on the tablets, they're on the phones and all of these podcasts and streamers. He was very vocal, and he gave advice to his father. And it was incredible how he brought in success, because he knew exactly who his father needed to contact and to talk to.

There have been rumors that Barron Trump may, one day, look to follow in his father's footsteps by getting into U.S. politics.

Time will tell.
