Meghan and Harry mocked over 'cringe' dance video
Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, are being "mocked" for the release of what many are calling a "cringeworthy" video of them dancing.
The video, according to the New York Post, is from when Markle was 9 months pregnant with daughter Lilibet, which would have been in 2021.
Harry and Markle released the video on Instagram, with the caption, "four years ago today, this also happened." If you think you can stomach it, take a look:

The details
According to the Post, this video was actually taken in the delivery room of the hospital.
Here's how the Post describes what is happening in the video:
The video, which the “Suits” alum uploaded to celebrate Lilibet’s fourth birthday on Wednesday, June 4, showed Markle dancing to Starrkeisha’s then-viral song, “The Baby Momma Dance,” while cradling her baby bump. As the As Ever founder “drops it low” and sings along to the tune to induce Lilibet’s birth, Prince Harry, 40, shimmies across the delivery room before stepping out of view and returning with his hood drawn over his head. The couple, who married in 2018 and welcomed their son, Prince Archie, 6, in May 2019, continue grooving together to the song as it comes to an end.
Markle's explanation for the video was this:
Four years ago today, this also happened. Both of our children were a week past their due dates… so when spicy food, all that walking, and acupuncture didn’t work - there was only one thing left to do!
Suffice it to say that the release of the video has not been the massive success that Markle thought it would be.
But, then again, what has been successful for Markle?
The backlash
Social media had a field day with the field, with some users writing such things as "Make it stop. #Cringe" and "fake and cringe."
Page Six quotes another user as summing up the situation like this, "Everything they do to be ‘relatable’ is weirdly not relatable. It’s bizarre how they never miss."
Other users took a different approach. They argued that the video is proof that Markle was never really pregnant - that she was essentially faking it for the cameras, while - so the theory goes - someone else carried her baby.
There is no definitive proof that this theory is true.
Curiously, some outlets are now trying to claim that the video was a success for Markle, which is massively contradicted by the reactions to the video.
