John Fetterman says Army parade represents 'the very best of us'
President Donald Trump made headlines this past weekend when he authorized a massive parade in Washington, D.C. to celebrate the U.S Army's 250th's birthday.
While other members of his party were quick to slam the move, Pennsylvania Sen. John Fetterman confessed that he supports it.
Fetterman says U.S. Army parade represents "the very best of us"
According to Breitbart, Fetterman made his thoughts known in a social media post on Saturday that featured a video clip of the parade.
"This parade is comprised of our sons, daughters, mothers and fathers—the very best of us," the Pennsylvania senator wrote.

Regardless of your politics, it’s appropriate to celebrate the 250 years of sacrifice, dedication and service. 🇺🇸 https://t.co/YghyZkK2JS

Pennsylvania lawmaker breaks with fellow Democrats over anti-ICE riots in LA
This is not the first time Fetterman has broken with his fellow Democrats in recent days, as last week he chided them over their response to the anti-ICE riots in Los Angeles.
"I unapologetically stand for free speech, peaceful demonstrations, and immigration—but this is not that. This is anarchy and true chaos," Breitbart quoted Fetterman as writing in an earlier social media post.
"My party loses the moral high ground when we refuse to condemn setting cars on fire, destroying buildings, and assaulting law enforcement," Fetterman stressed.
Fetterman's post featured an image which showed several vehicles on fire as well as a shirtless man waving a Mexican flag.
Former vice president claims that Trump "meant to provoke chaos"
Breitbart noted how those words stood in sharp contrast with the approach taken by other high-profile Democrats, including former Vice President Kamala Harris.
Instead of taking the rioters to task, Harris instead put out a statement in which she decried the deployment of National Guard troops as "a dangerous escalation meant to provoke chaos."
"In addition to the recent ICE raids in Southern California and across our nation, it is part of the Trump Administration’s cruel, calculated agenda to spread panic and division," she insisted.
Los Angeles Democratic Mayor sent out a similar message, asserting that "we need to stop" immigration enforcement. "This was chaos that was started by Washington, D.C.," she added.
