Former Obama adviser confesses Dems are losing touch with men

A former adviser to Barack Obama has admitted that the Democratic party has lost touch with men in America.

The Democratic party once relied on a bedrock of support from blue-collar men, but they were chased out of the coalition by the woke crazies who rose to prominence during Obama's administration.

Obama adviser confesses

The party's drift into an anti-white, anti-male coalition of woke, professional protesters and radical college faculty was fully realized in their 2024 blowout.

Democrats are now scrambling to find out how to reconnect with male voters after years of blaming white men for everything bad in the world.

Joe Jacobson, a 31-year-old progressive strategist and former Obama adviser, is trying to help his party pick up the pieces. His Progress Action Fund was behind a notorious 2024 campaign ad featuring a fictional GOP congressman who confronts a man watching porn. The ad flopped, and Trump won young male voters by a significant margin.

While Democrats tried to appeal to men by treating them like basement dwellers, Trump simply went on podcasts, like Joe Rogan, and showed off his fun, hilarious personality.

Messaging problem?

What a lot of young men like about Trump is his confidence, and his sense of humor. Democrats don't have anybody like that, because all of their male spokespersons are emasculated simps.

But Jacobson thinks the main hurdle Democrats currently face with men has to do with poor messaging. It's a comforting, and false, narrative Democrats have been telling themselves since the election.

Jacobson suggested the party needs to focus more on basic economic concerns, like housing costs - and pointed to David Hogg as an example of someone who could help the party reconnect with young men.

"Kamala Harris wasn’t the best messenger for young men. Biden, in 2024, was old – to say the least," he told Fox News Digital. "Young men want strong leaders who can get s--- done. It’s hard to care about the fate of democracy when you’ve got a couple of roommates, and you’re trying to find a girlfriend."

Jacobson conceded the effectiveness of Trump's famous "Kamala is for they/them" ad, but instead of moderating, Jacobson is urging Democrats to double down on the culture war. His group has more ads planned featuring the fictional GOP congressman performing "bathroom checks," and another slamming ICE raids.

"We’re trying to highlight issues we care about – whether it's trans issues or immigration – because Democrats don’t really seem to have a message," Jacobson told Fox News Digital.

Deep disconnect

When all else fails, you can just throw a ton of money at a problem and hope it goes away... right?

Jacobson's group is spending $26 million to target men on gaming sites and social media platforms. This comes after Democrats unloaded $20 million on an effort to study men like zoo animals.

The Democratic party's problem with men has been percolating for years. A notorious Obamacare ad featuring a male pajama boy sipping hot cocoa marked a watershed moment in the Democratic party's embrace of Tim Walz-esque effeminacy.

There is a deep cultural disconnect here that will take years to repair, and Democrats still aren't showing they have the first clue on how to begin.
