Trump expresses frustration over violations of Iran-Israel ceasefire agreement
President Donald Trump announced in a social media post on Monday evening that a ceasefire between Iran and Israel had been brokered.
Yet despite Trump releasing the news, there are now growing signs that the agreement may have been fake.
Iranian missile slams into residential building in southern Israel
CNN reported that the Israeli military had identified missiles coming in from Iran just hours after the president made his announcement.
"A short while ago, sirens sounded in several areas across Israel following the identification of missiles launched from Iran toward the State of Israel," the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) was quoted as saying in a statement.
"At this time, the IAF (Israeli Air Force) is operating to intercept and strike where necessary to eliminate the threat," it added.
Shortly after that, an Iranian missile reportedly slammed into a residential building in the city of Beer Sheva, which is located in southern Israel.
Israel launches additional attacks on Iran, prompting a rebuke from Trump
What's more, the cable network quoted an unnamed Iranian official who indicated that the Islamic Republic had no intention of backing off.
"At this very moment, the enemy is committing aggression against Iran, and Iran is on the verge of intensifying its retaliatory strikes, with no ear to listen to the lies of its enemies," the official stated.
What's more, Fox News reported on Tuesday that Israel had launched additional strikes against Iran, something which brought condemnation from Trump.
"Israel. Do not drop those bombs. If you do it is a major violation. Bring your pilots home, now!" Fox News quoted Trump as saying in a social media post.
Trump expresses frustration when speaking to reporters: "I'm not happy with Israel"
The president later expressed frustration when speaking of the ceasefire deal to reporters, saying, "[Iran] violated it, but Israel violated it too."
"Israel, as soon as we made the deal, they came out, and they dropped a load of bombs, the likes of which I've never seen before. The biggest load that we've seen. I'm not happy with Israel," he continued.
TRUMP: "I'm not happy that Israel is going out now. There was one rocket that I guess was fired overboard. It was after the time limit and it missed its target and now Israel's going out. These guys got to calm down, ridiculous."

"When I say, okay, now you have 12 hours — you don't go out in the first hour and just drop everything you have on them," the president stated.
Fox News noted on Tuesday afternoon that Israel had pulled back from making any further strikes following pressure from Trump.
