Trump authorizes ICE agents to arrest protesters who attack them
ICE agents were met with violence, including gunfire, when they raided a marijuana grow operation in Southern California on Thursday.
In a bombshell move, President Donald Trump has responded by authorizing ICE agents to arrest those who attack them.
Trump: "Arrest these SLIMEBALLS"
According to the New York Post, Trump made that announcement on his Truth Social platform after visiting flood victims in Texas.
"I am on my way back from Texas, and watched in disbelief as THUGS were violently throwing rocks and bricks at ICE Officers while they were moving down a roadway in their car and/or official vehicle," the president wrote.
"Tremendous damage was done to these brand new vehicles," he pointed out. "I know for a fact that these Officers are having a hard time with allowing this to happen in that it shows such total disrespect for LAW AND ORDER."
"Therefore, I am directing Secretary of Homeland Security, Kristi Noem, and Border Czar, Tom Homan, to instruct all ICE, Homeland Security, or any other Law Enforcement Officer who is on the receiving end of thrown rocks, bricks, or any other form of assault, to stop their car, and arrest these SLIMEBALLS, using whatever means is necessary to do so," Trump asserted.
Border czar calls out Democratic rhetoric
The Post noted how Border Czar Tom Homan also spoke up about the issue during a Friday morning appearance on "Fox & Friends."
"What happened in California is just another example of protesters becoming criminals, and they’ve been emboldened by even members of Congress who compare ICE to Nazis and racists and terrorists," Homan complained.
"I said months ago, it’s going to end up with a loss of life — and we had one the other day in Texas, and it’s not over," he declared, pointing to how shots were fired at Border Patrol agents on Monday.
Ten juveniles found working at marijuana farm
The Post observed that the marijuana farm is now under investigation for child labor violations as 10 illegal alien juveniles were found working there.
