FBI director says Epstein concerns are just conspiracies
FBI Director Kash Patel assured Americans that the “conspiracy theories” about alleged predator Jeffrey Epstein “just aren’t true.”
This comes in the wake of massive outrage by many of President Donald Trump’s supporters after the Department of Justice released a memo saying Epstein didn’t actually have a “client list,” as the New York Post reported.
“The conspiracy theories just aren’t true, never have been,” Patel said on social media, seeming to indicate the ongoing Epstein frustrations.
This conflicts with some of his previous comments when he told conservative commentator Benny Johnson in 2023 that the reason more wasn’t released about Epstein’s clients was “because of who’s on that list.”
Resignation rumors
Patel said that the resignation rumors that have flown about the internet in the aftermath of the Epstein files frustration are, like the documents, just a farce.
“It’s an honour to serve the President of the United States, Donald Trump, and I’ll continue to do so for as long as he calls on me,” Patel said in his X post.
The conspiracy theories just aren’t true, never have been. It’s an honor to serve the President of the United States @realDonaldTrump — and I’ll continue to do so for as long as he calls on me.

This comes after Daily Wire’s Mary Margaret Olohan, posted on X, formerly Twitter, “BREAKING: Source close to [Deputy FBI Director] Dan Bongino tells me it’s either him or Pam Bondi, and that he won’t stay at the FBI if she stays at the DOJ.”
On Patel’s second
Bongino had a high-profile place at the center of this conflict, and he reportedly is considering resignation.
That rumor came out after the deputy director of the FBI supposedly had his own heated exchange with Bondia at the White House just days ago.
Both Bongino and Patel were previously vocal about what they believed were deceptive practices surrounding the Epstein case.
Trump’s take
President Donald Trump took to his social media platform Truth Social to address the public feud, offering support for his appointees.
“What’s going on with my ‘boys’ and, in some cases, ‘gals?’ They’re all going after Attorney General Pam Bondi, who is doing a fantastic job! We’re on one Team, MAGA, and I don’t like what’s happening,” he wrote on Truth Social.
He added that it his his belief that “selfish people” have attempted to hurt the “perfect administration” over the late Epstein, who, as Trump put it, “never dies.”
Trump went on, saying “Kash Patel, and the FBI, must be focused on investigating Voter Fraud, Political Corruption, ActBlue, The Rigged and Stolen Election of 2020, and arresting Thugs and Criminals, instead of spending month after month looking at nothing but the same old, radical left-inspired documents on Jeffrey Epstein. Let Pam Bondi do her job — she’s great!”
