DNI Gabbard releases Obama Russia hoax-era documents
While the world awaits the release of any additional files related to Jeffrey Epstein and his mysterious death, President Donald Trump's administration released a trove of Russia hoax-related documents this week, the Daily Mail reported.
The report noted that Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard declassified hundreds of documents that showed evidence that the Obama administration 'manufactured and politicized intelligence' to try to make it appear that the Russians influenced the 2016 election.
The release of the declassified documents came as President Trump called for "any and all" grand jury testimony related to Epstein to be released.
Prior to Trump making the call for the release of the documents, he had downplayed the Epstein situation, causing a massive rift within MAGA circles.
What's going on?
Gabbard sent a statement to the Daily Mail explaining her document release, which included evidence that Obama and his administration played dirty with the Russia hoax situation.
"The information we are releasing today clearly shows there was a treasonous conspiracy in 2016 committed by officials at the highest level of our government," Gabbard's statement read.
She added, "Their goal was to subvert the will of the American people and enact what was essentially a years-long coup with the objective of trying to usurp the President from fulfilling the mandate bestowed upon him by the American people."
Gabbard stressed that part of the reason she released the files is to ensure that it never happens again.

"Their egregious abuse of power and blatant rejection of our Constitution threatens the very foundation and integrity of our democratic republic. No matter how powerful, every person involved in this conspiracy must be investigated and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law, to ensure nothing like this ever happens again," she added.
Social media reacts
Users across social media had plenty to say about Gabbard's document dump.
"Why are people not being held accountable??? This only means it will happen again just to someone else! Why is there a two-tiered justice system?" one X user wrote.
Another X user wrote, "Arrest Barack Hussain Obama!"
It'll be interesting to see what, if anything, comes of the document release.
