There's a stark and dangerously vast difference between the way radical, progressive Democrats feel about Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents versus how Republicans do.

According to Breitbart, there's at least one Democrat who recently praised ICE agents for a massive takedown that involved the arrest of some 200 illegal aliens, many of whom have rap sheets involving child-related sexual crimes.

Sen. John Fetterman of Pennsylvania, a Democrat who often makes reasonable and logical remarks despite his party's prescribed talking points, praised the agents involved in taking down the illegal alien criminals.

Other members of Congress, including GOP Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL), called for the "death penalty" for the individuals that were arrested.

What did he say?

The Pennsylvania senator made it clear that while he doesn't fully agree with ICE's actions, he fully supports the arrest of the illegal aliens who have criminal backgrounds involving child crimes.

“I don’t support or agree with all of ICE’s tactics or actions. I do fully support moves like these,” Fetterman said, once again breaking ranks with the Democratic Party. “This makes our nation more secure and all our children safer."

Notably, earlier this month Fetterman expressed strong support for ICE, saying his party's calls to have the agency dismantled were "outrageous."

"ICE performs an important job for our country. Any calls to abolish ICE are 💯 inappropriate and outrageous," Fetterman wrote on July 10.

As far as Rep. Luna is concerned, she made her thoughts clear, writing, "Go directly to the death penalty. Do not pass go. Do not collect $200.”

Social media chimes in

Fetterman received mixed reactions to his thoughts on the ICE-led arrest of the 200+ illegals.

"Anyone that support this kinda of move needs more checking. Thank you for being different from your colleagues that support and encourage such," one X user wrote.

Another X user wrote, "If only your party had been this concerned about individual immigrants when the border was wide open."

Undoubtedly, Fettrerman will likely receive pushback on his latest remarks.
