Fox News host Jesse Watters has definitely upset his fair share of lefty elitists during his career at the right-leaning network, and he recently shared an interesting story about Hollywood liberal Shia LaBeouf.

According to the Daily Mail, Watters, during a recent taping of his hit show, recounted a time at an airport when LaBeouf reportedly hurled a "vulgar" insult at him for no apparent reason.

Playwright and director David Mamet was a guest on "Jesse Watters Primetime" this week, promoting his upcoming film that happens to star LaBeouf.

Waters opened up about the airport incident to Mamet as the two talked about LaBeouf.

What did he say?

Waters had once shared the encounter when it was a bit more fresh, relaying the story in 2019 when he was guest-hosting Fox News host Laura Ingraham's show.

"The other day, I was at a lounge at the Delta Sky situation trying to take off for a flight with my family," he said during the segment while guest-hosting Ingraham's show.

"And the actor Shia LeBeouf or whatever his name is, I think it was him, it looked exactly like him. I walk by and he calls me trash, right in front of my kids, you know?"

Watters added at the time, "And I didn't say anything. I didn't lose it. But, you know, these things happen."

Fast-forward to his latest interview with Mamet, who is starring LaBeouf in his upcoming movie, Watters told the director to tell the Hollywood liberal "hi" for him.

"Well, Shia LaBeouf told me to go F myself at a Delta lounge at the airport a couple years ago," the anchor said. "So tell him I said hi. Will you do that for me?"

Legal troubles

LaBeouf has generated headlines over the years for some of his seemingly erratic behaviors, and most recently ended a years-long legal battle with his ex-girlfriend, the musician FKA Twigs.

She had sued the actor and sought nearly $10 million in damages, accusing him of "alleged sexual battery, assault, and emotional distress during the couple's relationship."

The matter was just recently settled out of court, according to his lawyers.

"Committed to forging a constructive path forward, we have agreed to settle our case out of court," their attorneys said in a statement.
