Democrat Texas Rep. Jasmine Crockett is known for regularly lashing out at President Donald Trump and even slamming her fellow Democrats.

However, a new report cites multiple former staff members who charge that the social media powerhouse is even more unstable behind closed doors.

Misplaced priorities

That's according to an article published by the New York Post this week, which featured numerous quotes from figures who once worked for Crockett.

"She is laying around her apartment, won’t come into the office, and is really just indifferent to staff and will scream at them," one source complained.

"She is never in the office and is very disengaged. She does her bull---t that goes viral, and then freaks out over the most random things," the individual continued.

Another person who was described as being "close to Crockett's team" remarked, "It is widely known that she’s not nice to staff and is just not a really dedicated member focused on constituents."

A third Capitol Hill insider characterized the Texas lawmaker as being a "diva" who "is focused almost exclusively on being an influencer, not a member of Congress."

Congresswoman "reduced a legislative aide to tears"

What's more, the Post spoke with one witness who described seeing verbally abusive behavior being directed towards Crockett's staff.

This included one instance in which she allegedly "reduced a legislative aide to tears" by yelling, "Do you really want to be here? And if not, you can leave!"

Meanwhile, a former aide told the newspaper that Crockett terminated her without explanation, asserting, "I don’t want to hear Jasmine Crockett talk about helping black women when she just fired one for no reason!"

Yet another ex-staffer lamented, "You would think working for a black woman, if you were a young black woman or a young person of color, you would feel empowered in that space. But truly, the only person that she thinks about and cares about is herself."

Atlantic reporter recounts alarming conduct

The accusations haven't just come from those whom Crockett has parted ways with, as Atlantic magazine journalist Elaine Godfrey has also recounted unseemly behavior.

"During our interview at the Waldorf, she dialed up a staffer in DC in front of me and scolded him for an unclear note on her schedule," Godfrey wrote.

"Another time, in the car, after an aide brought Crockett a paper bag full of food from a fundraiser, she peered inside, scrunched her nose, and said, 'This looks like crap,'" she added.
