Laura Loomer believes Kennedy staffer is working against Trump

Longtime conservative commentator and MAGA supporter Laura Loomer believes that the Trump administration has a traitor in their midst, and she’s determined to purge the staff.

According to a recent report by The Daily Mail, Loomer believes that Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s aide Stefanie Spear is up to no good.

During a recent interview, Loomer said she believes Spear is working on the foundation of a 2028 White House bid for Kennedy.

“I’m not naive enough to think that the president is going to get rid of RFK,” Loomer said Wednesday, “but I will say that … there are concerns about some of the staffing decisions over at HHS.”

Spear’s History

Spear has worked with Kennedy for over a decade and has become a mainstay for his political presence, but Loomer and some other conservatives have become suspicious.

The longtime Kennedy associate is just one part of the entire HHS team that some think isn’t aligned with the president ideologically.

Loomer even cited unnamed “sources in HHS” who have asserted that RFK is planning a 2028 run and that the aide would spearhead it for Kennedy.

Spear served as Kennedy’s press secretary during his 2024 campaign, and reportedly keeps watch over who has access to the health secretary, to the point of potentially having sway in decision-making.

Loomer has gone on several rants on social media, voicing concern about Spear, pointing out her connection to the Eco Watch website, where Spear is listed as the founder.

Spear seems to reflect the eco-political leanings of Kennedy that concerned many before he became part of President Donald Trump’s cabinet.

More From Loomer

Loomer pointed out that Spear is involved with the “climate change activism group,” and asked if Kennedy also has access to the EcoWatch social media accounts after the group shared negative thoughts about the president’s border wall program.

“President Donald Trump is building a new section of the border wall between the United States and Mexico that will present a threat to the movement of wildlife living in a remote part of Arizona’s San Rafael Valley,” EcoWatch said on May 20.

Loomer’s concern seemed centered around what she called “unacceptable counter-signaling of President Trump by his own HHS appointees’ senior staff (who are his former Presidential campaign staff).”
