Hunter Biden refuses to take down potentially defamatory content about Melania Trump
First Lady Melania Trump dropped an absolute bombshell on Hunter Biden last week, threatening him with a $1B defamation lawsuit should he refuse to remove what her attorney described as defamatory content about her.
According to Breitbart, Hunter Biden not only refused to remove the content in question, but he doubled down and hurled profane comments against the first lady. "That's not gonna happen," Hunter Biden said in response.
Melania Trump's lawyer said that Hunter made “false, defamatory, disparaging, and inflammatory statements" about her.
Hunter Biden had suggested during a recent interview on Channel 5 with Andrew Callaghan that Jeffrey Epstein had introduced Melania Trump to her husband, Donald Trump.
What's going on?
Alejandro Brito, the first lady's lawyer, held nothing back when describing Hunter Biden's content.
"These false, disparaging, defamatory, and inflammatory statements are extremely salacious and have been widely disseminated throughout various digital mediums," Brito wrote.
He added, "Indeed, the video has since been re-published by various media outlets, journalists, and political commentators with millions of social media followers that have disseminated the false and defamatory statements therein to tens of millions of people worldwide."
Hunter Biden was given a chance by Callaghan to apologize to the first lady for saying what he said, but he went in the opposite direction of an apology.
"But now here we are, and I’ve got a billion dollar document in my hands, because Mrs. Trump is seeking $1 billion in damages if we don’t take the video down, and if Hunter here doesn’t issue a formal apology to Mrs. Trump," Callaghan said.
He added, So now we’re here maybe to give you the platform to apologize to the First Lady for your statements that you made about her possible connection to Jeffrey Epstein."
Hunter's response
The former president's son showed just how classless he is when he responded to Callaghan.
"F*** that," Biden replied. "That’s not gonna happen."
Biden continued, "I don’t think that these threats of a lawsuit add up to anything other than a design distraction, because it’s not about who introduced whom to who. I don’t know how that in any way rises to the level of defamation to begin with, but the fact of the matter is, is that this is about hundreds, if not over one thousand minors, children who were raped by Jeffrey Epstein."
