Ghislaine Maxwell made headlines earlier this month after she was transferred to a low security prison camp located in Texas.

However, a new report suggests that some of Maxwell's fellow inmates at the correctional facility would prefer to see her removed.

Prisoner: "Every inmate I’ve heard from is upset she’s here"

That's according to The Telegraph, which spoke with some of the women who are incarcerated at Federal Prison Camp (FPC) Bryan.

Among the complainers is Julie Howell, who is serving a 12-month sentence for theft. She told the newspaper, "Every inmate I’ve heard from is upset she's here."

"This facility is supposed to house non-violent offenders. Human trafficking is a violent crime. We have heard there are threats against her life and many of us are worried about our own safety because she’s here," she added.

In 2022, Maxwell was sentenced to twenty years behind bars for helping disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein to sexually abuse underage girls.

Howell's daughter was the victim of human traffickers

Howell explained that her daughter became a victim of human traffickers, something she said "changed the trajectory of my daughter’s life, as well as mine."

"I don’t blame anyone else for the actions that brought me to FPC Bryan, but I can definitely say that the circumstances that surrounded my daughter being shot were what sparked my spiral and addiction to gambling to escape my reality," Howell declared.

"As a mother of a sex-trafficking victim, I’m absolutely disgusted she’s in this facility. Regardless of her reasoning, I don’t think she belongs here," she remarked.

The federal convict went on to maintain that having Maxwell living alongside her at FPC Bran has "triggered" traumatic feelings.

Maxwell said to have faced death threats after meeting with DOJ official

Maxwell's transfer came shortly after she spent two days speaking with Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche at her previous prison in Tallahassee, Florida.

ABC News cited multiple unnamed sources who claimed that Maxwell told Blanche she never saw President Donald Trump engage in illegal behavior.

The Daily Mail also cited a source at the Tallahassee prison who indicated that Maxwell was labeled "a snitch" following her interview with Blanche and "bombarded" with death threats.

"There were real fears inside Tallahassee that they could not guarantee her safety, which is why she was moved," the source asserted.
