Immigration raids carried out by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) have been largely successful, even though Democrats have worked overtime to try and stop the Trump administration from continuing its mass deportation mission.

According to Breitbart, Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass issued a demand that ICE agents immediately halt raids on certain establishments in her sanctuary city.

Specifically, she called for the end of ICE raids "at fruit stands and car washes," just days after "agents arrested an illegal alien convicted child molester at an Orange County, California, car wash."

She called raids at these places "un-American" and declared that she "will never accept these tactics as a new normal."

What's going on?

Earlier this week, Chapman Car Wash in Orange County, California ended up being quite the scene as U.S. Border Patrol agents arrested illegal alien Claudio Reyes-Vasquez while he was at work.

While Democrats like Mayor Bass attempt to elicit sympathy for targets of such raids, the reality is that some of the people, like Reyes-Vasquez, are some of the worst offenders out there.

Breitbart reported:

Department of Homeland Security (DHS) officials called Reyes-Vasquez “one of the worst of the worst,” noting that he had been arrested for lewd and lascivious acts with a child under 14 years old and had an active federal warrant for his arrest after violating his probation.

The arrested illegal alien has a long rap sheet, stretching back to 1990, according to police. He has been charged with some of the worst crimes, including child assault.

"Claudio Reyes-Vasquez was arrested for lewd and lascivious acts with a child under 14 and currently has an active federal warrant for probation violation. Reyes-Vasquez has a criminal history dating back to 1990 with convictions for molesting a child, spousal abuse and battery, petty theft, battery, illegal reentry and two DUIs," Homeland Security wrote on X.

Thank goodness ICE agents are picking up the worst of the worst under President Trump's direction.
