Epstein accomplice admits she received substantial salary

Ghislaine Maxwell, the convicted associate of Jeffrey Epstein, recently admitted that she received large sums of money from Epstein each year.

This comes, according to the Daily Mail, after the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) just released a record of its interview with Maxwell.

It was previously reported that the DOJ was meeting with Maxwell to see what kind of information she had about Epstein, with the possibility that President Donald Trump might consider pardoning her in exchange for incriminating information.

A lucrative job

Maxwell reportedly told the DOJ that she received a $250,000 salary from Epstein.

The Daily Mail reports:

However, she did reveal some details of her relationship to Epstein, including that the transactional nature of their relationship continued long after their romantic one did. As late as 2008 or 2009, Maxwell said that Epstein paid her around $250,000 a year, until he went to jail.  'He had never stopped paying me,' she admitted.

The big question, of course, is what exactly Epstein was paying Maxwell to do. The claim is that she was getting paid to be the "general manager" of Epstein's real estate portfolio, but one wonders whether more was going on.

After all, Epstein, in 2008, pleaded guilty to soliciting underage sex. And, Maxwell is currently serving a 20-year prison sentence for recruiting young girls for, at least, Epstein to sexually abuse.

There are other revelations from the DOJ interview with Maxwell, too.

There's more...

The New York Post reports that Maxwell went into detail about her relationship with Epstein.

According to the Post:

Maxwell, 63, elaborated on her connection to the notorious sexual predator, portraying herself as romantically strung-along while serving as “general manager” of the late millionaire pedophile’s real estate portfolio, tapes from her two-day interviews last month with Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche in Tallahassee, Fla., revealed. She also bizarrely claimed that the Sept. 11, 2001, terror attacks were when she realized they would never have a romantic future.

She explained how she and Epstein's romantic relationship began, as well as how it ended. She also touched upon their sex life.

Per the Post:

While traveling, they would sleep in the same bed, but would not have sexual intercourse, she revealed, according to the transcripts. “Epstein told me he had a heart condition,” Maxwell explained. “Which meant that he didn’t have intercourse a lot, which suited me fine, because I actually do have a medical condition which precludes me having a lot of intercourse,” she shared. Epstein liked “other forms of sexual activities,” she added.

Maxwell claimed that she stopped having "full sex" with Epstein in 1999.
