Marjorie Taylor Greene accuses Trump of ignoring her request to meet with Epstein victims
For years, Georgia Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene has been one of President Donald Trump's most prominent allies in Washington.
Yet in a startling development, the Capitol Hill MAGA star publicly broke with Trump this week on a key issue.
Congresswoman says Trump ignored her request to meet with Epstein victims
According to the Daily Mail, Greene complained that the president ignored her request to meet with victims of deceased sex offender Jeffrey Epstein in the Oval Office.
The congresswoman aired her concerns while speaking with CNN host Manu Raju following a press conference on Thursday which featured the victims.
"I look forward to talking with President Trump about these women that I've met. I also encouraged him this morning that he should have these women in the Oval Office," Greene was quoted as saying.
"They deserve to be there,’ Greene added. ‘'These are the people who deserve to be in the Oval Office, not any of Jeffrey Epstein's rich powerful friends," she continued.
Greene: "The FBI, the DOJ, and the CIA hold the truth"
The Daily Mail noted how at one point in their exchange, Raju raised Greene's support for a piece of bipartisan legislation which would force the Department of Justice (DOJ) to release all the material that it has regarding Epstein.
"This isn't a hostile act towards the administration," Greene told Raju, who cited a message from the White House warning that the bill is regarded as a "very hostile act" by Trump.
However, Greene accused the executive branch of withholding information on Epstein during her earlier press conference, saying, "The FBI, the DOJ, and the CIA hold the truth."
"And the truth we’re demanding come out on behalf of these women, but also as a strong message to every innocent child, teenager, woman, and man that is being held captive in abuse. This should never happen in America, and it should never be a political issue that divides us," she insisted.
Epstein victims are compiling their own list
Meanwhile, NBC News reported this week that some of Epstein's victims are assembling on their own list of the disgraced financier's accomplices.
One of them is Lisa Phillips, who told the network, "A lot of us survivors know we’ve been compiling lists of our own, and we have so many other survivors."

"Please come forward, and we’ll compile our own list and seek justice on our own. I mean, I think that’s what’s going to happen next," she stated.
