Fox Business host Maria Bartiromo has garnered all sorts of headlines about where she is, what she’s doing, and what might be the reason for her conspicuous absence from the television screen.

Bartiromo, who hosts three shows, has been missing from the air and her flagship show, “Mornings With Maria,” since Monday, and fans have been asking where she is, according to The Sun.

Some expressed concern, considering she was gone for a strenuous week in the news that included the anniversary of 9/11 and the public assassination of political commentator Charlie Kirk.

According to a statement released by Fox Business News, Bartiromo’s absence is due to a planned vacation, but they did not note when she would be back on the air.

Viewer Confusion

One user posted to X, saying, “Where is Maria Bartiromo? She hasn’t been on air in a minute and her experience and knowledge are needed during these tumultuous times.

Viewers speculated about the reason for her departure during the intense news week: “‘Mornings With Maria’ not the same without, well, Maria. Charlie Kirk’s assassination and 9/11 are topics MB should be all over.”

In addition to “Mornings With Maria,” the longtime Fox Business anchor also hosts “Sunday Morning Futures,” and “Maria Bartiromo’s Wall Street.”

Her History

Prior to her 2014 start with the news agency, she was with CNBC for 20 years, helping the company become the mainstay of legacy media that it is today.

Even before that work, however, she began working in 1995 as a business anchor, reporting live from the New York Stock Exchange.

Throughout her career, she has won multiple awards, including two News and Documentary Emmy Awards. Her work now for Fox Business is at a company parallel to the cable news leader, Fox News, which is known to dominate the ratings, month after month.

In July of this year, Bartiromo celebrated 10 years of “Mornings with Maria,” thanking her team and viewers for their loyalty and dedication to the show over that time.

The Fox Business host is known for interviewing some of the most powerful people in the country, including talks with President Donald Trump and Secretary of State Marco Rubio.

In May of this year, Media Matters for America released a statement saying that the organization believes Bartiromo “whips Republican support” for medicaid cuts in the GOP-backed One Big Beautiful Bill.
